What devices work with Nudge?
Nudge requires an Apple Watch Series 6 or later running watchOS 11 or later, paired with an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. The iPhone companion app runs quietly in the background to handle speaker discovery and communication with your Sonos system — no interaction needed after setup.
How does Nudge connect to Sonos?
Nudge connects to your Sonos system over your local Wi-Fi network for real-time playback control. It also uses the Sonos Cloud API to sync your Favorites and playlists, which requires a one-time Sonos account sign-in. A lightweight background service handles push notifications so your watch stays in sync — your listening activity never touches Nudge's servers.

When will Nudge be available?
We're currently in private beta testing. Public release is planned for Q2 2026. Contact us to be added to the waitlist.

Nudge works with all Sonos S2-compatible speakers, including:

Is my listening data private?
Absolutely. Nudge is local-first: Your music, listening habits, and speaker names never leave your home and can never sold or shared. Nudge uses standard analytics (Firebase and Google Analytics) to measure aggregate app usage and diagnose crashes — this data is anonymized and never tied to your music or Sonos account.
